Recon Team Mamba Poster - $20.00

This print is the best example of the art of camouflage we have ever seen. All three of these Army Recon team members are wearing “Tiger Stripe” camo that was widely adopted by special operation forces in all branches of service. Although not official names, many of the special op. recon teams in Vietnam selected names to help build morale. Snake names, like Mamba, Cobra and Viper were often used. In this print you’ll note one soldier is armed with the M203 version of the M16. This version was fitted with a grenade launcher under the barrel. His buddy is carrying the carbine version of the M16 with its 10 inch barrel and collapsible stock. 18"x201/2".

The sniper has a 98K Mauser with the SS issue scope and mount, while his observer is armed with an MP-40. Both men are wearing camouflage in the distinctive SS pattern.
